We are looking for an experienced and driven Cardiac Physiologist to join our echo team, in Surrey, on a part-time basis.

As a Cardiac Physiologist with In Health, you will be proficient with BSE reporting guidelines, providing a safe and welcoming clinical environment for patients.

This is a part-time role, working 1 or 2 days per week (including Tuesday). We would also consider a bank contract for this role.

What you will do

  • Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with [1] BSE minimum data set and [2] local reporting guidelines.
  • Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate.
  • Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs.
  • Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.
  • Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained.

About you

  • Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
  • Hold British Society of Echocardiography accreditation (or equivalent).
  • A full UK driving license.
  • A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance and Caldicott Principles.
  • A willingness to embrace new thinking and new technologies.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
