Job responsibilities
Location: Southampton covering three sites: Adelaide Centre, Brambles RSH, and Weston Lane Centre for Healthy Living, plus home visits across Southampton and West Hants. Hours: 36 hours per week, made up of 4-day shifts, Monday to Friday. Free on-site parking.
As part of our friendly, dynamic, and supportive team, you’ll be at the forefront of audiology care, using your expertise to conduct both standard and complex hearing assessments. Your role will be varied, fulfilling, and patient-focused, ensuring each individual receives the best possible care. This role also involves carrying out home visits across Southampton and West Hants, so a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carry out expert audiological assessments following best practice and clinical guidelines.
- Maintain top-quality equipment through regular checks and calibration.
- Provide a warm, patient-first approach, respecting individual needs and preferences.
- Keep records up to date in our patient information systems.
- Travel to patient homes across Southampton and West Hants, delivering high-quality care.
- Stay ahead in your field with training and CPD opportunities.
Your Key Responsibilities:

Who We’re Looking For:
- A Masters or Bachelors degree in Audiological Science (or equivalent).
- BAA/BSA Part 1 & Part 2 certification.
- Membership with RCCP, BAA, HCPC, or another relevant body.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, patient-focused mindset; teamwork is key.
- Knowledge of Data Protection, Infection Control, and Health & Safety protocols.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (home visits are part of the role).
