We are looking for a Patient Administrator to join our Endoscopy team on a full-time permanent basis (x4 shifts a week, 8am - 6pm, Monday to Sunday), at our brand new Community Diagnostic Centre in Cornwall.
As a Patient Admin with InHealth, you will ensure our patients receive a professional and patient-focused service throughout their diagnostic pathway. Working alongside your clinical colleagues in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will also provide administrative support for the endoscopy services we provide.

As a Patient Admin with InHealth, you will ensure our patients receive a professional and patient-focused service throughout their diagnostic pathway. Working alongside your clinical colleagues in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will also provide administrative support for the endoscopy services we provide.
Main duties of the job
- Providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for all patients, coordinating their arrival through to departure
- General administrative duties to support the unit team such as scanning documents, preparing patient notes and updating patient administration systems with accurate information relating to patient appointments
- Dealing with telephone and direct enquiries in a prompt and effective manner, ensuring the provision of information and prioritisation of queries as appropriate
- Tracking and distributing reports to referrers, ensuring that results are dispatched in line with timescales
- Working with the wider operational team and the booking service to resolve queries and ensure the best patient experience at all times.
