Join our Lung Cancer Screening team and help deliver a high-quality, lifesaving service across mobile locations. You\’ll work as part of a 7-day service, including bank holidays, and follow a standard 12-hour shift pattern while supporting early diagnosis of lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.
Main duties of the job
- Run virtual and face-to-face nurse-led clinics, assessing patient risk and referring high-risk individuals for Low-Dose CT.
- Deliver high-quality respiratory assessments and offer smoking cessation support as part of the screening pathway.
- Provide effective health promotion and tailored patient education.
- Recognise and escalation safeguarding concerns, red-flag symptoms, or emergencies.
- Maintain required accreditations (IRMER on induction; ARTP for spirometry where needed).

Job description
36 hours per week | 8am-8pm | 3 shifts per week (weekend flexibility required)
Location: Surrey & Sussex (Brighton, Hove, Hastings, Bracknell, Slough, Crawley, Littlehampton, with more sites added as the programme expands)
Salary: £38,000-£42,000 + £4,200 car allowance or company car
What You\’ll Be Doing

What We\’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse with minimum 2 years Band 5 respiratory experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident using a range of IT systems and software.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and further training.
- Full, clean UK driving licence with willingness to work across mobile sites.
