The predicted salary is between 22000 - 26000 £ per year.

The overall purpose of the Lung Cancer Screening Programme is to enable the early detection of lung cancer to save lives. The Lung Cancer Screening Service has been implemented throughout the UK in areas identified with high disease prevalence where significant impact can be made from the recognition of early-stage lung cancer and offering curative treatment.

Main duties of the job:

  • Welcome patients and guide them through their screening journey with empathy and professionalism.
  • Support clinical colleagues in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
  • Assist with patient handovers between screening and CT scan locations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Help manage clinic flow, support scheduling, and respond to patient queries.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control.
  • Contribute to a 7-day service, including bank holidays, with occasional remote admin work.

Location: Lincolnshire. Must be flexible to travel the county as this is a mobile role working within our LCS clinics.

Travel: Full UK Driving Licence Required.

Shifts: 12-hour patterns, 3 days a week (8am-8pm), including weekends and bank holidays.

As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you'll play a key role in delivering a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused experience across our mobile screening sites in Midlands & North.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a patient or customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and patient management systems.
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites.
