Salary: £24,852.66 rising upon completion of your diploma – full‑time role, 37.5 hrs per week.
Main duties:
- Ensure that patients feel welcome and comfortable throughout the screening process.
- Undertake the screening checklist to ensure safety for yourself and patients.
- Basic maintenance of the camera and equipment to enable the best possible images.
- Safely administer eye drops to enlarge pupils and capture photographs with correct field of view.
- Identify patients requiring urgent onward referral at the time of their appointment.
- Maintain a sufficient stock of consumables to run the clinic.
