We are seeking a dedicated Patient Administrator to join our Endoscopy team in Ipswich. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a professional, patient-focused experience throughout the diagnostic pathway. Working alongside clinical colleagues in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will also provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our endoscopy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, professional first point of contact for patients, supporting them from arrival through to departure.
  • Manage telephone and face-to-face enquiries efficiently, prioritising queries and providing accurate information.
  • Book clinically validated appointments in line with priority and service requirements.
  • Track and distribute imaging data and reports, ensuring timely delivery to referrers in line with performance targets.
  • Support the management team with month-end administrative processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, processing payments on the day and maintaining accurate financial records.

About You

  • Experience working in a customer-facing or patient-focused environment.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and a range of IT systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-skilled team.
