Join InHealth's Lung Cancer Screening Programme and be part of a vital service that helps detect lung cancer early when treatment is most effective. As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you'll play a key role in delivering a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused experience across our mobile screening sites in Surrey & Sussex.
Main duties:
- Welcome patients and guide them through their screening journey with empathy and professionalism.
- Support clinical colleagues in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
- Assist with patient handovers between screening and CT scan locations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Help manage clinic flow, support scheduling, and respond to patient queries.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control.
- Contribute to a 7-day service, including bank holidays, with occasional remote admin work.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a patient or customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and patient management systems.
- A flexible, team-oriented approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites.
