Hours - Monday to Sunday, 4x9 hour shifts on rotating schedule.
Location - Frimley Park.
Main Duties
- Welcoming patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure.
- Escorting patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure fully and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionally.
- Completing the patient’s pre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safety questionnaire (where applicable).
- Assessing and monitoring the patient’s condition after the procedure, ensuring any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately.
- Ensuring patient and customer focus is central to the success of the MRI department by delivering a high level of patient care throughout.
- Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system.
- Managing administrative tasks within the unit, including dealing with telephone, direct and face-to-face enquiries.
- Booking clinically validated appointments on the internal system.
- Ensuring all payments are invoiced promptly and accurately.
Requirements

- A good understanding of health and safety and infection control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team.
- Flexibility in working patterns to fulfil site requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a capability to present information logically and efficiently.
- Strong administration skills with an ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- The passion to attend courses to enhance knowledge and skills for the role required.
Experience
- Experience in a similar healthcare role, delivering hands-on patient care, or a passion to learn and work in a busy healthcare environment after working in a customer-focused environment.
- Proficient administration skills, such as experience using Microsoft Packages.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
