Are you a Breast Screening Radiographer looking for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Mammographer to join our Breast Screening team in Exeter. Our Breast Screening and Assessment Clinics are staffed by dedicated multi‑disciplinary teams of Consultant Radiologists, Associate Breast Clinicians, highly experienced Radiographers, Mammographers, clinical and administration staff; recalling women to obtain a definitive diagnosis of all potential screen detected abnormalities. This is achieved by following the principles of triple assessment mammography/ultrasound, clinical examination and needle biopsy. Our primary goal is to make healthcare better by providing rapid and accurate assessment of every patient’s condition, enabling the right treatment to be delivered swiftly and effectively by specialist providers.
Main duties of the job:
- This is a part‑time role, working 28.8 hours per week on a local rota across Monday‑Friday.
- Provide a high‑quality imaging service to all users of the service and screen women for breast cancer by mammography.
- Participate in assessment clinics including stereotactic biopsies and support the development of assistant practitioners.
