Part-Time Patient Administrator (Endoscopy)
Hours: 28.5 hours per week (3 days, 8am–6pm)
Flexibility required: Monday to Sunday, based on service needs

We are seeking a Part-Time Patient Administrator to join our Endoscopy team at our Cornwall unit. In this role, you will deliver a professional, patient-focused service throughout the diagnostic journey, while supporting the smooth administration of endoscopy services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a welcoming and professional first point of contact, managing patients from arrival to departure
  • Handle telephone and in-person enquiries efficiently, ensuring queries are prioritised and resolved appropriately
  • Schedule clinically validated appointments in line with priority and system requirements
  • Track and distribute imaging data and reports, ensuring timely delivery in line with clinical and contractual standards
  • Support month-end administrative processes for the management team
  • Process patient invoicing accurately, ensuring payments are collected, recorded, and banked promptly

About You

  • Experience in a customer or patient-focused environment
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative, multi-skilled team

Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
