Part-Time Patient Administrator (Endoscopy)
Hours: 28.5 hours per week (3 days, 8am–6pm)
Flexibility required: Monday to Sunday, based on service needs
We are seeking a Part-Time Patient Administrator to join our Endoscopy team at our Cornwall unit. In this role, you will deliver a professional, patient-focused service throughout the diagnostic journey, while supporting the smooth administration of endoscopy services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a welcoming and professional first point of contact, managing patients from arrival to departure
- Handle telephone and in-person enquiries efficiently, ensuring queries are prioritised and resolved appropriately
- Schedule clinically validated appointments in line with priority and system requirements
- Track and distribute imaging data and reports, ensuring timely delivery in line with clinical and contractual standards
- Support month-end administrative processes for the management team
- Process patient invoicing accurately, ensuring payments are collected, recorded, and banked promptly
About You
- Experience in a customer or patient-focused environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative, multi-skilled team
