InHealth is welcoming a part‑time Registered Nurse to provide Endoscopy services at our Braintree Community Hospital. The role supports the endoscopy unit and ensures a high standard of patient care.

Main Duties of the Job:

  • Assist pre-, during- and post‑diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients.
  • Support the senior clinical team and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff.
  • Participate in decontamination, traceability and care of endoscopes and specialised equipment.
  • Take part in clinical audits.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.

About You:

  • Experienced Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN number.
  • A supportive and reliable team player who fosters a positive atmosphere.
  • Calm in challenging situations, working well under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable to varying shift patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong time and workload management.

Working Hours: 8 am – 6 pm, 3 days a week with flexibility across Monday–Sunday. Weekend rota delivered fairly and flexibly.

Additional Information: Applicants must have current UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires Disclosure and Barring Service check.
