Junior Tax Associate , you'll play an active role in supporting VAT and Corporation Tax compliance, tax governance and systems activity, while continuing to build your technical expertise within a supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a finance, accountancy or tax background who is looking to develop their career in tax.

You'll receive support from our Tax Manager, professional study support and exposure to a broad range of tax activities across a growing healthcare organisation.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the preparation of VAT returns, reconciliations and supporting documentation
  • Assisting with Corporation Tax compliance activities and tax reporting
  • Preparing accurate, audit-ready working papers and maintaining organised tax records
  • Supporting tax controls, governance processes and compliance deadlines
  • Working closely with Finance, Shared Services and Commercial teams on tax-related matters
  • Assisting with ERP and P2P tax requirements, including data validation and testing
  • Liaising with external advisers and supporting information requests
  • Contributing to tax projects, process improvements and ad hoc activities

What We're Looking For

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Business or a related discipline
  • Previous experience within a finance, accountancy or tax environment
  • Strong accounting fundamentals and numerical skills
  • Working knowledge of VAT principles and compliance processes
  • Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career in tax
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Motivation to study towards a professional qualification alongside your role
