A subversive ready to wear British fashion label, with a focus on womenswear, radical restraint and post-utilitarian articles for the rebellious and disobedient modern woman. Kraftchenko continues to work with pre-existing and sustainable technical materials in innovative construction processes. By re-appropriating fetish, military and medical aesthetics, Kraftchenko draws links between control, submission, resistance and community. Designed in London, artfully crafted and manufactured in London E1 as a form of rebellion against mass produced fashion, with a paradoxical aesthetic of punk ruin and decay. Ingrid Kraftchenko Dollhouse is a radical collaborative studio spanning multi-disciplinary works operating between Architecture and Fashion design, Film, the Visual and Performing Arts. The firm's architectural and fashion design work frequently addresses issues of bodily enclosure and shelter at scales ranging 1:1 - 1:3000.
