As a Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of Protein Fortification in EMEA. Reporting to the Director Healthful Solutions EMEA, you will lead high-performing teams, partner with key customers and bring innovative solutions to market while driving growth and making a real impact in a fast-evolving industry.

What you will do:

  • Lead and inspire the team – Motivate and develop cross-functional teams (sales, technical, supply chain, commercial) to deliver the sales strategy, achieve growth targets, and build a high-performance, engaged, and digitally enabled culture.
  • Drive business growth – Develop and execute a sales plan to expand market share in protein fortification, launch new products successfully, and maintain a strong pipeline of projects with both existing and new customers.
  • Deliver results – Accurately forecast and achieve sales, profit, and volume targets while leveraging competitor insights and adapting strategies to surpass goals.
  • Manage key accounts – Build and strengthen customer relationships, co-develop tailored protein solutions, and oversee contract negotiations to maximize value for both customers and the company.
  • Ensure pricing and process excellence – Lead the contracting process, embed best practices across the team, and position the company as the premium provider of specialty ingredients.
  • Coordinate resources effectively – Collaborate with technical service, supply chain, finance, marketing, and customer service to deliver fast and seamless support to customers.
  • Foster innovation and customer centricity – Act as the voice of the customer, accelerate adoption of new products, identify growth opportunities, and ensure an outstanding customer experience across all touchpoints.

What you will bring:

  • Extensive experience in protein sales with established customer contacts in the protein industry, ideally in the plant-based protein market.
  • Relevant academic background (food science, business, or economics) combined with commercial experience in specialty food ingredients, chemicals, or related industries; understanding of protein technology and functionality is a plus.
  • Proven leadership and sales track record with strong management skills, successful team development, and a history of driving projects, sales growth, and business results.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, including business strategy development, cross-functional collaboration, and deep understanding of market drivers and bottom-line impact.
  • Digital fluency and technical knowledge, with skills in data management, digital tools, and solid knowledge of food processes, ingredient functionality, and interactions; fluent in English.
