Overview
In this onsite leadership role, you will head maintenance and reliability across the London, ON site, ensuring safe and compliant operation of plant assets. You’ll shape asset strategies to boost availability, lifecycle performance, and cost efficiency while developing the maintenance team. You will drive a zero-incident safety culture and lead reliability initiatives using RCA, predictive maintenance, and condition monitoring. Responsibilities
- Lead plant maintenance operations: corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities
- Drive safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance with a zero-incident culture
- Develop and execute asset maintenance strategies to improve reliability, availability, and lifecycle performance
- Lead reliability improvement initiatives using root cause analysis and condition-monitoring tools
- Manage maintenance budgets, optimize costs, and oversee spare parts inventory
- Plan and manage plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance projects
- Coach and develop maintenance leaders and technical personnel toward a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Key requirements
- 10+ years of progressive maintenance, reliability, or engineering experience in manufacturing
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline (preferred)
- Experience leading maintenance planning and scheduling and asset management programs
- Experience managing maintenance budgets, reliability programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Safety leadership and commitment to EH&S compliance
