Ingredion’s Global Insights Center of Excellence (CoE) is seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our team. The Global Market Insights Analyst will support global initiatives on primary proprietary research as well as develop an understanding of markets by utilizing secondary sources of information and data.

The Analyst, Global Market Insights will be responsible for projects, ensuring deeper learning and understanding of the global market. This role will support knowledge of the marketplace and consumers, contributing to a wide range of projects and initiatives, while working with various internal groups and external research partners. This role reports to the Manager, Global Attitudinal Research EMEA.
Core Responsibilities- Execute consumer studies via our Online Panel Provider; this includes designing questionnaires, programming, fielding and final reporting.
- Identify, clarify, and communicate research objectives, and establish research scope.
- Oversee the design, management, and presentation of results of custom primary studies.
- Develop Social Media Listening capabilities, including vendor testing, project management and final results reporting.
- Research, analyze, and communicate market data (e.g., new product launches, market sizing, import/export data, point of sale (POS) data, trend info, social media, consumer behavior, proprietary primary research, etc.).
- Integrate data and learnings from multiple sources to generate strategic insights.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in quantitative and qualitative market research or related field.
- Strong experience in data analytics and reporting (e.g. use of Excel and Pivot Table skills highly beneficial).
- General understanding of statistical references (weighting, sig differences, correlations, regressions).
- Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen) and use of online POS platforms to build search parameters.
- Experience and comfort with online DIY Survey programming tools (no coding necessary).
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies and techniques.
- An ability to design, organize, and analyze large data sets.
- Analytical and logical, and able to see the big picture amidst details.
- Experience or strong interest in the Food Industry.
