Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and fully qualified Diagnostic Technician to expand our team of dedicated specialists in our busy Aftersales department. This is a key role in the workshop, contributing to our continued success. To be successful in this role, you must have proven problem-solving abilities to diagnose and fix complex mechanical issues in a dealership setting. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for excellence and keep our customers safely on the road.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
- Perform complex and accurate diagnosis and repairs of modern vehicles.
- Repair any given fault and overhaul any given major component to brand standards.
- Complete all documentation to the required standard.
- Possess the ability to generate customer satisfaction through the quality of your repairs and the time it takes to diagnose a problem with a vehicle, while providing a first time fix.
About You:
- Level 3 Certification in Light Vehicle Maintenance Repair, or equivalent.
- Possess sufficient technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing all manner of mechanical and electrical faults.
- Experience of working to the highest quality standards, within a franchised dealership, with a focus on first time fix.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
