About the Job

This role is central to our mission of driving operational excellence and financial integrity across Ingram Micro UK&I. You’ll have the chance to make a real difference by shaping the direction of a newly created finance function, implementing strong financial controls, and enabling smarter decision-making through insightful reporting and leadership.

What you can expect to be getting up to as a Comms-Care Finance Lead

As the senior on-site Finance lead in Northwich, you’ll lead a team of three, shaping operations and performance through the key responsibilities that follow:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting compliant with US GAAP and Ingram Micro accounting policies
  • Own statutory audit processes and build effective relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Enhance the financial control environment and consult with the UK&I Head of Finance on technical matters
  • Partner with FP&A to develop decision-driving financial reports and performance metrics
  • Support regional and global finance queries and act as primary escalation contact for financial matters
  • Lead and mentor 2 direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching and development

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in Finance control roles
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA)
  • Experience with SOX Compliance & Internal Controls
  • Experience working within a US GAAP framework
  • Knowledge of corporation tax and VAT
  • ERP implementation exposure
  • Proven ability in developing and managing internal control frameworks
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Relationship-building mindset and confidence to challenge the status quo
