About the Job

Sales Lead to join our team and drive growth through strategic engagement with our partner ecosystem.

What your role as a Sales Lead will involve:

  • Leading the sales strategy and execution for managed services across our partner network.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities for managed services, with a focus on AWS, Azure, M365, EndPoint Management & Networking solutions.
  • Translate technical features into outcomes.
  • Lead discovery sessions to uncover customer needs in areas.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key partners to identify opportunities and drive revenue.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by aligning networking and cloud solutions with client business outcomes.
  • Manage and develop client relationships throughout the full life-cycle of the account, including pre-sales, onboarding, ongoing account and project management, and monthly/quarterly meetings.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet partner needs.
  • Driving enablement and education initiatives to support partner success.
  • Ability to explain technical solutions in plain business terms for non-technical decision-makers.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Reporting on performance metrics and pipeline development to senior leadership.
  • Gathering new business leads through various sources to reach targets.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM usage, accurate forecasting, and strong pipeline health.

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in selling managed services, ideally within the IT channel.
  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and indirect sales models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Networking: Understand firewalls, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi setups. Know what uptime, bandwidth, and redundancy mean to a business.
  • Servers & Virtualization: On-prem vs. cloud-hosted servers. Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). Why companies move workloads to virtual machines or the cloud.
  • Understanding managed services contracts, pricing models (per user/device, tiered services, etc.), and how Service Level Agreements (SLAs) work.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting.
