Overview
You will lead a newly created finance function in Northwich, driving financial integrity and smart decision-making. As the on-site senior finance lead, you’ll shape controls, reporting, and collaboration with global FP&A to support performance insights. You’ll manage audits, liaise with auditors and tax advisors, and mentor a small team to build a high-performance finance culture. This role offers the chance to influence financial direction across UK&I and partner with cross-functional teams to enable growth and compliance. A strong emphasis on controls, compliance, and strategic financial partnering is at the heart of this opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting under US GAAP and internal policies
- Own statutory audit processes and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
- Strengthen the financial control environment and advise on technical matters with UK&I Head of Finance
- Collaborate with FP&A to produce decision-driving reports and performance metrics
- Support regional and global finance queries and act as primary escalation point for financial matters
- Lead and develop 2 direct reports to foster high performance
Key requirements
- Experience in Finance control roles
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA)
- Experience with SOX Compliance & Internal Controls
- Experience working within a US GAAP framework
- Knowledge of corporation tax and VAT
- ERP implementation exposure
- Proven ability in developing and managing internal control frameworks
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
