Join our Technical Services team as a Field Network Engineer, delivering on-site and remote technical support to keep customers’ networks running smoothly. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices and servers, while participating in project-based installs and site surveys. The role combines field work with remote support and offers training to grow your career within a global tech leader. You will engage with customers to resolve issues quickly and maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
  • Install and support network devices, PCs and servers
  • Remote and onsite troubleshooting
  • Pre-stage router and switch installations per documentation
  • Facilitate adds, moves & changes and project-based installs
  • Perform site surveys and document results for projects
  • Post-sales support and site visits to replace non-functional equipment
  • On-call support up to 1 week in 3

Key requirements

  • Experience with Cisco, Draytek, Zyxel, Netgear routers
  • Experience with Cisco, Aruba and HP switches
  • 1st/2nd line Server/PC hardware break-fix support
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience delivering network/PC/Server field engineering to high-profile customers
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Resides in the advertised region and holds a full UK driving licence
