We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team at Ingram Micro UK. Location: Milton Keynes – Hybrid. The role requires a 3‑day hybrid working pattern and the candidate must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Milton Keynes office.
Overview
This role sits at the centre of our finance operations, with responsibility for key areas across month‑end, cost control and margin accounting. You’ll own your areas end‑to‑end, ensuring accurate reporting and providing the business with clear performance visibility. The role involves working closely with Finance and Sales teams to support business decisions in a changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Own monthly management accounts for your areas, including both P&L and balance sheet
- Manage Opex reporting, including accruals, prepayments and variance analysis
- Work with budget holders to monitor, control and challenge cost centre spend
- Take responsibility for customer rebate (VPA) accounting, including tracking, accruals and forecasting
- Support multi‑period deal accounting, ensuring revenue and margin are recognised correctly
- Prepare month‑end journals and complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide clear financial insight and commentary to support business decision‑making
Qualifications
- Part‑qualified or qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or actively studying or qualified by experience
- Experience working in management accounting or month‑end processes
- Good understanding of cost control, Opex or similar finance areas
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
- Ability to take ownership of work and manage workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders across Finance, Sales and the wider business
- Proactive approach, confident to challenge and add value
