This role is central to our mission of driving operational excellence and financial integrity across Ingram Micro UK&I. You’ll have the chance to make a real difference by shaping the direction of a newly created finance function, implementing strong financial controls, and enabling smarter decision‑making through insightful reporting and leadership.

What you can expect to be getting up to as a Comms-Care Finance Lead:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting compliant with US GAAP and Ingram Micro accounting policies.
  • Own statutory audit processes and build effective relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Enhance the financial control environment and consult with the UK&I Head of Finance on technical matters.
  • Partner with FP&A to develop decision‑driving financial reports and performance metrics.
  • Support regional and global finance queries and act as primary escalation contact for financial matters.
  • Lead and mentor 2 direct reports, fostering a high‑performance culture through coaching and development.

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in Finance control roles.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA).
  • Experience with SOX Compliance & Internal Controls.
  • Experience working within a US GAAP framework.
  • Knowledge of corporation tax and VAT.
  • ERP implementation exposure.
  • Proven ability in developing and managing internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Relationship‑building mindset and confidence to challenge the status quo.
