Job Description
Day Shift - 6am to 6pm. X2 vacancies available on either D1 or D2 shift.
Job Summary
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all production activities during the assigned shift. This role ensures that production goals, including turnaround times (TAT), quality standards, and safety protocols, are met consistently. The Supervisor will lead and monitor shift associates, manage process control systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations Supervisor serves as LSI on‑site management in the absence of the manufacturing shift manager.
Other Duties
- Supervise and Lead Production Associates: Direct, coach, and support production team members to ensure optimal performance, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Also ensures there is an appropriate level of multi‑skilled colleagues to perform tasks in an effective and efficient manner.
- Process Control & Quality Monitoring: Oversee daily manufacturing processes to ensure consistent quality and compliance with established process control standards. Identify process deviations and take corrective action as needed.
- Meet Turnaround Time (TAT) Objectives: Manage production flow and prioritise tasks to ensure on‑time delivery of products according to customer or internal TAT requirements.
- Shift Reporting & Documentation: Complete and maintain shift production reports, downtime logs, and quality control documentation. Communicate key shift information during shift handovers and to management.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and leading regular safety audits or checks. Report incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Training & Development: Assist in training new associates and cross‑training team members to enhance workforce flexibility and capability.
In addition to the above, the Manufacturing Shift Supervisor will perform other duties as reasonably requested by the management team. To be responsible for your own Health and Safety and be aware of factors affecting your colleagues in order to maintain a safe environment. To report any accidents or potential hazards to the Health and Safety team immediately.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role. Strong understanding of manufacturing process control and production metrics. Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and meet production deadlines. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Proficient in using production management software, Microsoft Office, and quality control systems.
Education: GCSE’s or equivalent.

- Ability to bend, kneel/squat, twist/turn, and reach above shoulder height during the assigned shift.
- Ability to work designated 12 hour shift as required.
