An experienced Legal Secretary/Administrator is required to join a leading Law Firm based in their South Manchester offices. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Solicitors & Fee Earners with typing and administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As a Legal Secretary/Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Audio Typing
- Creating, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
- Maintaining and organising files
- Reception work
- Administration
- Providing exceptional support to our legal team
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in typing and possess a good understanding of legal terminology and procedures. In this role, you will also be in contact with clients and other stakeholders, requiring a strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a legal secretary or administrator or in a similar role within a legal environment
- Excellent typing skills and strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document formatting
