Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant

Manchester City Centre

Full-time OR Part-time

A specialist Law Firm in Manchester City Centre are hiring for a Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant. This pivotal role involves supporting the team with all aspects of daily legal cashiering, accounts and administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day cashiering and processing transactions
  • Client and office account
  • Allocation of payments
  • Monitoring emails and workflow management
  • Checking payments and monitoring charges
  • Processing bills
  • Assisting with the day to day operations within the firm
  • Working within compliance and solicitors accounts rules
  • Assist with practice administration and preparing for audits
  • Assisting with filing and legal administration
  • General office duties

Requirements:

  • Prior Legal Cashier/Accounts experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Up to date knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and finance systems
  • Experienced in legal/practice administration

The Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant role can be offered either on a Full-time or Part-time basis. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
