A specialist Law Firm in Manchester City Centre are hiring for a Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant. This pivotal role involves supporting the team with all aspects of daily legal cashiering, accounts and administration.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day cashiering and processing transactions
- Client and office account
- Allocation of payments
- Monitoring emails and workflow management
- Checking payments and monitoring charges
- Processing bills
- Assisting with the day to day operations within the firm
- Working within compliance and solicitors accounts rules
- Assist with practice administration and preparing for audits
- Assisting with filing and legal administration
- General office duties
Requirements:
- Prior Legal Cashier/Accounts experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Up to date knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Proficient in Word, Excel and finance systems
- Experienced in legal/practice administration
