- Ingliston Country Club Stables Team
We provide three types of livery: Assisted livery, Upper DIY and DIY. We currently care for 69 horses.
Responsibilities
- Mucking out stables and replacing bedding
- Grooming horses
- Clipping horses
- Feeding horses
- Turning horses out and bringing in
- Rug changing
- Checking the general health of the horses and treating minor injuries
- General yard duties such as sweeping the yard, checking fences, etc.
- Stable tours
Qualifications
- Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Good general knowledge and experience of horse care and stable duties
- Awareness of horse illnesses and equine first aid
- Good customer service with livery clients and general public
- Flexible to the horses’ needs
