We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Inglis Veterinary Hospital on a full-time basis. We are a busy and well-established Veterinary Hospital with eight branches located in Fife and Central Scotland. We are dedicated to providing our clients with an excellent care plan and offer our own out of hours services.
Our Cowdenbeath Branch is a clinical training centre for RDSVS Vet Students. Across our branches, we have digital x-ray, advanced ultrasound, multi‑parameters, capnography, a full suite of laparoscopy and endoscopy, cat‑only waiting and consult rooms, as well as fully equipped laboratories. We have a passionate and hardworking team of around 100 employees, including over 30 Registered Veterinary Nurses. In addition to our permanent staff, we have a visiting orthopaedic surgeon, ophthalmologist and dermatologist. We are enthusiastic about our teams’ development and currently have vets and nurses studying for certificates.
How you’ll make a difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. The role involves a mixture of hospital and Kinross shifts, with weekday hours worked between 7:30am and 7:00pm. This is a full‑time position consisting of four 10‑hour weekday shifts per week, along with participation in a rotating Saturday morning rota. There are no additional out‑of‑hours requirements.
