The Graduate Assistant Engineer role:

Key responsibilities of the Graduate Assistant Engineer:
- Assist with hazardous area inspections and compliance assessments in accordance with DSEAR requirements.
- Support electrical site surveys and inspections to BS 7671.
- Gather, analyse and maintain compliance project data.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and compliance documentation.
- Support client meetings, telephone calls and technical discussions.
- Work at client sites across the UK; occasional overseas travel may arise as part of project work.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality services.
Skills and experience required by the Graduate Assistant Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree (or expected degree completion) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Industrial placement or practical engineering experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and work away from home when required.
