The role... We are currently recruiting an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our M&E Team in Billericay. This role involves delivering high-quality electrical engineering design and consultancy services across a variety of building projects. You will play a key part in designing and managing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with technical standards, client requirements, and budget constraints.

Please Note: This role may be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service, Baseline Personnel Security Standard, Counter Terrorist Check, Security Check, or Developed Vetting clearance.

The selected candidate will… Deliver electrical engineering design services to a high technical standard, on time and within budget. Undertake fee-earning work, including detailed design and technical input on projects. Assist in developing cost-effective engineering solutions. Meet with clients to define project briefs and budget expectations. Prepare detailed specifications and drawings in line with client requirements. Review tenders and prepare technical reports and recommendations. Manage and monitor site works from inception to completion. Conduct inspections of existing installations and produce condition reports. Support monthly invoicing and meet agreed fee targets. Use Amtech, AutoCAD, and Revit for design and documentation. Collaborate with other disciplines as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Ensure compliance with QA standards, policies, and guidelines.

Essential skills, experience, and attributes… Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering. Experience in electrical design for building services through multiple projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (Amtech).
