IKEA Greenwich are looking to welcome a Warehouse Team Manager for our Goods Inbound Operation. In IKEA we call this a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader.
As a Goods Inbound Team Leader, you'll coach and develop your co-workers while securing safe, efficient and accurate daily operations in receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock. You'll be at the core of our fast-paced logistics environment - balancing quick, real-time decision-making with solid planning and organisation. By coordinating people, processes and priorities, you'll make sure every delivery is handled correctly, every product reaches its location efficiently, and the team is always prepared for the demands of tomorrow.
What we offer
- The Start Date of employment will be 29th May
- Starting salary of £32,774 per annum, based on competence and experience.
- 39 Hours working 5 days per week including alternate weekends. Shift patterns will range between 4AM - 10PM

What you'll need to have
- Experience of leadership in a busy warehouse environment with the ability to prioritize and organise your own and others' workload.
- Results-driven approach with a clear customer focus and ability to meet agreed budgets and goals with the ability to make quick decisions and take personal initiatives, open to change and highly flexible.
- Leading others, you will have good communication skills that can assist in building relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Ability to implement structural ways of working within the area of responsibility, with problem-solving experience and proficient computer literacy.
What you'll be doing day to day
- Leading the operation of our Goods Inbound Fulfillment team.
- Ensure efficient daily Fulfilment Operations for maximum stock availability and readiness.
- Responsible for coaching, developing, and inspiring a hard-working team, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to IKEA health, safety, and security regulations and Code of Conduct.
- Work with the team to achieve business goals, review workloads to ensure daily volume handling and meet seasonal demands, all while keeping costs low.
- Work regularly with digital warehouse management and productivity tools.
