The Financial Controller role is located in Farnborough and will be based on‑site two days per week – the remainder can be worked flexibly from home (minimum four days per week). The position is full time, with a fixed term contract of six months and an attractive salary range of £60,000‑£65,000 per annum plus bonus.
About the Role
Join our Finance team at a time of transition. As the Financial Controller you will provide stability, control and leadership across core financial processes while ensuring audit readiness and continuous improvement. You will own balance sheet integrity, treasury, and financial governance – acting as the final point of control at month‑end. You will also strengthen processes, document controls and ensure a smooth handover to business‑as‑usual.

Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Experience managing complex balance sheets, reconciliation and month‑end processes
- Exposure to treasury, FX and multi‑currency environments
- Experience in regulated or multi‑entity businesses (travel sector an advantage)
- Confident working with auditors and external advisors
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Hands‑on and comfortable operating at pace in a changing environment
- Strong judgement and ability to challenge constructively
- Clear communicator, able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Solutions‑focused, with a continuous improvement mindset
