This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full‑time position; however, we value work‑life balance, so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week). Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 p.a. + bonus Fixed term contract for 6 months.

About the role

This role will support significant and exciting web projects. Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, your primary focus will be to deliver continuous improvements across our two exceptional brands – Inghams and Santa’s Lapland. You will have a proactive and positive attitude as you support the development roadmap of our websites, with an enhanced focus on CRO, UX analysis and A/B testing.

  • Online Promotions and Merchandising – collaborate with product, content and brand teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches that drive commercial results.
  • Conversion and User Experience – implement CRO tests and recommend changes based on successful experiments to improve page layouts and merchandising.
  • CMS Training – maintain up‑to‑date CMS training guides and provide ad‑hoc support to the business, championing SEO and UX best practices.
  • SEO – assist the SEO Manager in executing key search engine optimisation initiatives.
  • Analysis and Reporting – monitor customer behaviour to forecast demand, spot opportunities and optimise merchandising to increase revenue.

Qualifications

  • Interest in and understanding of the key principles of website merchandising, SEO and CRO.
  • Experience in using CMS platforms, ideally Umbraco.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS with an eye for good design.
  • Ability to multi‑task and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience of analytics and web performance tools such as GA4, Excel, Glassbox and Google Search Console.
  • Commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism; our values will be close to your heart.
