This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position; however, work-life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week). Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 + bonus.
About the role: You’ll be working with the Head of Content, Senior Content Editor, as well as our Brand & eCommerce teams, to craft captivating online and offline content that engages, informs, and inspires. With your solid copywriting, storytelling abilities and your attention to detail, you’ll be a brand champion and will support the team on delivering cross-channel performance objectives. From writing long-form blog content as well as building/SEO optimising website pages with the goal to drive organic traffic to relevant pages as well as support lead generation and sales targets, you’ll also use your copywriting expertise to support our Brand team on any offline content to bring our creative campaigns, destinations and brand values to life.
Am I the right person? We are looking for your application to demonstrate:
- Experience in B2C content.
- Experience in CMS (Umbraco is desirable).
- A creative copywriter, well-practised in the art of storytelling.
- Good proof-reading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience of creating content for web, social and other marketing channels.
- An understanding of key SEO principles and how to monitor and implement them.
- Highly organised, creative and happy to work autonomously.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
