About the role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our Haematology Clinical Trials Unit on a 12-month, Full Time contract. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you'll play a central role in delivering high‐quality clinical trials – ensuring protocols are followed, supporting participant wellbeing, and contributing to breakthrough advancements in healthcare. In this hands‐on role, the successful candidate will guide participants through their clinical trial journey, provide education and ongoing support, and take responsibility for monitoring and reporting on trial safety. This work will help shape the future of treatment options for patients living with haematological conditions.

Our Haematology Clinical Trials Unit is known for its warm, friendly culture and genuinely supportive environment. You'll be joining a collaborative team where everyone – from new starters to senior specialists – is provided with ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development. Please note, this role may require travel between Liverpool Hospital, Campbelltown Hospital and Bankstown‐Lidcombe Hospital.

About You

• Graduate Degree in Pharmacy, Allied Health, Medical Science or Nursing.
• A minimum of 1 yr recent, local experience in Haematology/Oncology Pharmaceutical sponsored drug clinical trials in hospital setting.
• Detailed knowledge of clinical research practices, ethical obligations, ICH and Good Clinical Practice.
• Highly developed project planning, coordination, organisation, and time management skills.
• Proven ability to identify problems, make recommendations and implement appropriate solutions in the research environment.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• High level interpersonal skills and proven ability to work strategically with key stakeholders in a research environment.
• Well‐developed written and verbal communication skills, consultation, and interpersonal skills.
• High level computing skills, including databases, clinical trial electronic data entry, word processing and spreadsheets.
• The ability to work between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (early start or late finish occasionally required, based on protocol requirements).
• Experience with venepuncture and cannulation with blood collection (training can be provided).
• Basic knowledge of clinical research practices, ethical obligations, ICH and GCP.
