I'm working with an established business in Leeds city centre that is looking to appoint a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join its finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has built a solid foundation in management accounting and is now looking for the next stage of their career, with study support towards ACCA or CIMA and genuine opportunities to progress as they continue to develop.
The Opportunity
You'll join an established finance function in a role that will allow you to build on your existing management accounting experience whilst continuing to work towards your professional qualification.
The business is keen to invest in the right person, so alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you'll have access to ACCA or CIMA study support and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as your experience and confidence develops.
It's a role that should suit someone who is ambitious, commercially curious and keen to build a long-term career within finance.
What you'll be doing
The full scope of the role is currently being finalised, but you'll be joining at Management Accountant level, supporting the wider finance function across core management accounting activities.
You'll have the opportunity to build further experience across areas such as:
- Month-end and management reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Financial analysis and variance reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting wider finance projects
- Working with stakeholders across the business
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
About you
You'll ideally already have experience within a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant position and be part-qualified or actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA.
They're looking for someone who is:
