Join a new team created to build the next version of FP&A. This is not a traditional FP&A role. It’s an opportunity to join a finance function that is actively modernising how insight, analytics and decision support are delivered — and to help shape what FP&A becomes over the coming years.

The Opportunity

A large, multi-site UK business is undergoing a finance transformation and has created a central FP&A & Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence, bringing analytics, reporting and insight together in one team.

This role has been created as part of that evolution — not to maintain legacy processes, but to help build a modern, forward-looking finance model.

Why This Role Is Different

  • Challenges how insight is produced
  • Automates and improves reporting
  • Works with large, complex datasets
  • Partners closely with BI
  • Moves finance from hindsight to decision support

This is a role where you’re encouraged to question, improve and redesign.

What’s In It For You

This role is built to accelerate the careers of ambitious FP&A professionals. You’ll gain:

  • Exposure to group-level FP&A and analytics
  • Hands-on experience alongside a BI function
  • Involvement in transformation and modernisation
  • Regular interaction with senior stakeholders
  • A future-proof skillset aligned to modern finance

The Team & Culture

You’ll join a newly established central finance team with a clear mandate to improve how the business uses data. The culture is:

  • Curious and collaborative
  • Open to challenge
  • Focused on quality insight, not volume of reporting

Who This Role Is For

This role will suit you if you:

  • Already work in FP&A or commercial finance
  • Enjoy analysing, modelling and explaining performance
  • Are curious about analytics, BI and automation
  • See FP&A as a strategic, forward-looking discipline
  • Are CIMA / ACCA / ACA part-qualified, nearly or newly qualified

It’s less suited to those seeking transactional, rigid or static roles.

Flexibility & Progression

The team operates a hybrid model with flexibility shaped around the individual. As the function continues to evolve, progression opportunities include Senior FP&A, Business Partnering, Commercial Finance and analytics-aligned roles.

Final Thought

This role is for FP&A professionals who can see what finance is becoming - and want to help build it.
