The purpose of this role is to ensure the procurement of assigned raw materials and packaging categories is in line with Procurement/Supply Chain best practice, company guidelines, site quality and cost–effective commercial targets. Accountable for global strategy decisions in sourcing, establishing and managing budget/commercials, performance measures and business goals for the direct sourcing of raw materials and packaging for the site.

Qualifications and Desired Skills- Strong experience within an industrial purchasing/procurement/sourcing role
- Highly Influential, with ability to negotiate effectively across the globe (Strategic Global outlook)
- Experience using SAP systems
- Chemical industry/manufacturing experience preferred
- Can demonstrate effective leadership skills with stakeholders
- Strong process management including experience of auditing processes
- Great communication skills and the ability to develop long-term cross functional and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, across all operational environments
- Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualifications preferred, but not required
