As a Functional Assessor, you'll continue to utilise your clinical expertise, maintain your registration, and enjoy a better work-life balance. If you have a minimum of 12 months' post-registration experience and have been practising as a clinician throughout the last year, we'd love to hear from you.
If you are a pharmacist, we welcome your application if you have a minimum of 18 months experience. What you'll be doing as a Functional Assessor: Liaising directly with claimants, using active listening and questioning skills to obtain additional evidence where needed in order to complete the assessment. Liaising with clinical peers across the NHS and private healthcare sector, charities, and support organisations to obtain and evaluate evidence that assists in the production of detailed assessment reports. Triaging cases to determine the assessment route a case will take. Conducting initial case reviews, file work and paper-based assessments. Applying critical thinking and logical reasoning to produce accurate and detailed reports on each case.
