Full time Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Opportunity to achieve a Β£2k salary uplift over the first 12 months, based on achievement of development milestones.
Further salary uplifts as you learn new specialist skills from year 2.

Are you looking to your clinical skills in a different way? As a Functional Assessor, you'll continue to utilise your clinical expertise, maintain your registration, and enjoy a better work-life balance. If you have a minimum of 12 months' post-registration experience and have been practising as a clinician throughout the last year, we'd love to hear from you. If you are a pharmacist, we welcome your application if you have a minimum of 18 months experience.
Flexibility and remote working:
We offer a number of flexible working arrangements that suit those who prefer to work in an Assessment Centre full time or in a hybrid role.
Working hours throughout your training are 9.00am -5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Once training has been completed (typically around six months), other working patterns are available.
What you'll be doing as a Functional Assessor:
Carrying out functional assessments with claimants' face to face, via video & telephone to assess their ability to undertake activities of daily living.
Asking focused questions and use active listening and critical reasoning skills to gather accurate information throughout the claimant Assessment.
Produce high quality, structured clinical reports on all claimants you assess, for submission to the DWP.
Working alongside other highly experienced clinical colleagues to ensure high-quality & clinically fair assessments for all claimants.
