Senior PIP Assessor – Nurse
Are you an experienced PIP Nurse assessor with a passion for leadership and clinical excellence?
This is a unique opportunity to join the Department for Work and Pensions London Assessment Centre and become part of its Health Transformation programme. This programme is modernising benefit services to vastly improve customer experience, build trust in their services and the decisions made.
We are seeking two Senior Health and Disability Assessors to join our team in Marylebone, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of health assessments and supporting professional development
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional leadership and building capability across teams in line with Professional Standards.
- Mentor and coach new entrant Disability Assessors and those in training, supporting their ongoing development.
- Collaborate with various teams within DWP to ensure consistency and compliance with test and learn protocols.
- Deliver customer service desk support and clinical advice for complex cases and decision makers.

To be considered for this role you must be approved in either PIP Telephone Assessments or PIP PBR’s, fully registered with the NMC and preferably have some leadership experience.
