The Learning Content and Quality Officer is an instrumental role in both the design and assurance of participant learning materials across our employability programmes. In the role, you will assure the quality of existing resources developed by others and ensure that they meet our organisation’s standards and are tailored, engaging and impactful to our participant and employer needs. In this position, you will also be responsible for monitoring the consistency and effectiveness of training delivered by trainers and ensuring that feedback and coaching is provided as needed.

What you’ll be doing as a Learning Content and Quality Officer:

  • Designing engaging, accessible and inclusive learning content tailored to diverse participant needs.
  • Ensuring all participant training materials are quality assured and accurately tracked with version control.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the quality of training delivery across programmes to ensure consistency and effectiveness, as well as providing coaching and feedback to trainers to improve delivery standards and to support development.
  • Integrate training content into advisor follow‑up appointments, providing guidance and resources to help advisor monitor and reinforce skill application.
  • Work with EST to identify employer requirements and co‑design bespoke training pathways.
  • Collaborate with L&D and Business Managers to share best practices and to understand local office needs and tailor learning accordingly.

You will require:

  • Ability to design engaging, accessible and inclusive learning content using a variety of digital and face‑to‑face formats.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and evaluating training delivery, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and version control for learning materials.
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple learning projects, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, especially in quality assurance and learning delivery contexts.
