Location: Birmingham office (will be required to cover holidays and business requirements at our Dudley office when needed)
The role of Restart Trainer is pivotal in supporting our participants who have been out of work for at least 6 months, to find sustainable employment.
No two days are the same! Our Restart Trainer will deliver Employability support to groups of participants, ensuring they are guided and challenged appropriately to move towards lasting and meaningful employment with the right skills and knowledge in CV writing, interview skills, confidence in work and other essential skills.
As our Restart Trainer you’ll:
- Run group training sessions with Participants on key Employability skills such as confidence building, CV writing or effective interviews
- Be able to respond to challenges as they arise throughout the day
- Build effective and positive relationships with participants, working collaboratively, and challenging them to identify and overcome any potential barriers preventing them from returning to work.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team to support your caseload into sustainable employment
As our Restart Trainer you’ll need:
- Proven experience in developing and delivering effective courses, workshops and training
- Experience of working with IT and Office software
- Knowledge of local labour market
- Able to effectively network to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally
- An adept communicator with the ability to persuade, influence and listen to others.
- Training or Coaching qualification
