To deliver excellent customer service through the servicing, installation, and commissioning of SEEPEX products and associated equipment across the UK and Ireland. The role is also responsible for promoting SEEPEX services to existing and prospective customers during site visits, while consistently representing the company in a professional and positive manner.
Responsibilities
- Service, commission, and support SEEPEX products and associated equipment in line with company standards.
- Accurately capture and document site visit data through detailed reports covering installation, commissioning, service, and training activities.
- Comply fully with all applicable health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Visit customer sites to inspect pump installations and monitor equipment performance.
- Assist with on-site installation of SEEPEX products, working alongside subcontractors where required.
- Maintain a strong understanding of SEEPEX products and recommend upgrades or alternative solutions to customers and internal colleagues when appropriate.
- Monitor spare parts usage and identify operational inefficiencies, providing clear information to support proposed improvements or alternative solutions.
- Develop an understanding of system processes across a range of market sectors.
- Repair or assess pumps and equipment returned to the Yeovil facility, providing reports as required.
- Liaise with internal departments to communicate outcomes of installation, commissioning, service, and training activities.
Basic Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Mathematics, and Science subjects are essential.
- Experience in pipe fitting, mechanical installation, or water treatment maintenance would be advantageous.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
- The role is primarily workshop‑based in Yeovil, with most weeks spent carrying out repairs, servicing, and preparation work at the facility.
- There will be periods where travel is required to support customer service jobs, installations, or commissioning activities across the UK and Ireland.
- During busy service or installation periods, travel may involve up to four overnight stays per week.
- Travel requirements will vary depending on workload and customer demand.
