Overview
In this role you will lead the UK accounting and reporting function, ensuring accurate financial close, reporting and compliance. You will act as the bridge between UK operations, global finance, the SSC and external advisers to deliver insightful financial information that supports performance and strategic decisions. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to strengthen controls, drive budgeting and forecasting, and manage tax and statutory processes. This is a key finance leadership position within SEEPEX UK, contributing to robust financial governance and business growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead UK accounting and reporting including month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close
- Prepare and review management accounts, reconciliations and financial analysis
- Coordinate audits and support statutory accounts preparation
- Manage UK tax compliance (VAT, Corporation Tax, PSA, Employee Relates Securities)
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Provide financial insight and business partnering to operations and commercial teams
- Serve as primary liaison between UK, SSC and global finance, resolving accounting issues
- Support US GAAP and group reporting with global teams and intercompany processes
- Oversee working capital, debtor reviews and cash flow monitoring
- Maintain bank relationships and banking administration
- Review/approve transactions, payments and master data per controls
- Support finance process improvements and system enhancements
- Manage insurance portfolio renewals and liaison with brokers and insurers
- Represent finance in cross‑functional meetings with operations, sales, HR and corporate teams
Key requirements
- AAT qualified
- Studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience
- Experience in multinational/SSC environments desirable
- Hybrid working arrangement

- Ability to challenge constructively and influence outcomes
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP/BI systems, SAP advantageous
- US GAAP reporting and intercompany processes
