Working within a warehouse facility, managing the flow and control of material through a combination of receiving, kitting, packing, handling and shipping of goods and equipment to support internal operations and a worldwide customer base.
Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment (60%)
- Picking stock, packing goods and preparing ready for dispatch.
- Receiving new stock, checking and locating onto racking.
- Using banding and packing machines.
- Uploading upcoming deliveries and placing them in the appropriate areas of the warehouse.
- Checking shipping and receiving manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Controlling inventory by locating missing material, stocking material, restocking material, and checking for damaged material.
- Basic office skills including filing, scanning, organising of paperwork, etc.
- Job‑related knowledge of the internal operating system (JDE/Oracle).
Qualifications
- Essential: FLT counterbalance license.
- Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing.
- Desirable: Slinging and lifting certificate.
- Basic knowledge of Export and Import requirements (Europe, non‑European).
- Experience with Electric Pallet Truck.
- Computer literacy, including experience with scanners and relevant software such as inventory management systems.
- Previous experience of JDE is desirable.
- Structured and organised.
- Good communication skills.
- Working within a team.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Working in a fast‑paced environment.
