Job SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead a team of skilled operatives at our factory in Redditch. The role involves overseeing daily production activities, ensuring quality standards, and driving operational efficiency in the manufacture of large air compressors. Plan and coordinate production activities to meet output/quality targets Monitor and drive KPI performance (e.g., Ensure correct skill level of their factory, using skills matrix to identify gaps and organise training to support. Manage staffing levels, shift cover, and absence (including return to works and absence reviews) Conduct performance reviews and support development of Team Leaders. Liaise with support functions to drive improvement (e.g., ManEng, EHS, Quality, HR). Ensure compliance against company policy and procedure.
