Working within a warehouse facility, managing the flow and control of material through a combination of receiving, kitting, packing, handling and shipping of goods and equipment to support internal operations and a worldwide customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment (60%)
    • Picking stock, packing goods and preparing ready for dispatch.
    • Receiving new stock, checking and locating onto racking.
    • Using banding and packing machines.
    • Uploading upcoming deliveries and placing them in the appropriate areas of the warehouse.
    • Checking shipping and receiving manifests to ensure accuracy.
    • Controlling inventory by locating missing material, stocking material, restocking material, and checking for damaged material.
  • Administration and Dispatching (40%)
    • Basic office skills including filing, scanning, organising of paperwork, etc.
    • Job‑related knowledge of the internal operating system (JDE/Oracle).

Qualifications

  • Essential: FLT counterbalance license.
  • Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing.
  • Desirable: Slinging and lifting certificate.
  • Basic knowledge of Export and Import requirements (Europe, non‑European).
  • Experience with Electric Pallet Truck.
  • Computer literacy, including experience with scanners and relevant software such as inventory management systems.
  • Previous experience of JDE is desirable.
  • Structured and organised.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Working within a team.

  • Working in a fast‑paced environment.
