Job Summary
As an Aftermarket Service Coordinator, you will be the central point of coordination between our customers, mobile service engineers, and internal support teams.
You'll help ensure service work is planned effectively, customer requirements are met, and jobs are processed efficiently from order creation through to invoicing.
Your work will play a vital role in delivering the exceptional customer experience that Gardner Denver is known for.
- Creating and managing service and parts orders through SAP.
- Coordinating parts deliveries to engineers and customers.
- Processing engineer service documentation, ensuring labour, materials, and follow-up actions are correctly captured and invoiced.
- Monitoring and managing Work in Progress (WIP) to support departmental targets.
- Maintaining service and maintenance records to support operational KPI reporting.
- Checking stock availability and supporting parts identification and quotations.
- Ensuring information is accurately maintained across SAP, FSL and other business systems.
- Providing excellent customer service and technical support via telephone and email.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve customer issues and deliver outstanding service.
- Supporting wider Aftermarket team activities and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
- Service scheduling and engineer coordination.
- Supporting preventative maintenance and service agreement customers.
What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have
Essential
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
Desirable
- Experience using Salesforce Field Service or CRM systems.
- Experience working in a service, engineering, manufacturing, transport, or aftermarket environment.
- Knowledge of customer invoicing and WIP management.
- Experience supporting field-based engineering teams.
